Meet Tana Streeter
With a background in nursing, Tana has a bachelors degree in psychology, a minor in music therapy, and a masters in vocational rehabilitation couseling. For 20 years she has served her community as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C), she is located at the Creative Counseling Institute at 645 Grand Ave, Billings, MT 59102.
Tana raised 2 daughters as a single parent without having finished her 4 year college degree. When her daughter reached college age she felt the best thing she could do for them was to finish her own college education at age 39.
In 1995 Tana built her first Sacred Sound Medicine Table, what would later become the Resonator Bed, in an effort to offer an alternative to patients seeking physical and emotional healing.
Tana has since founded the Grandchild Journey Program for native children in foster care, founded Kaleidoscope Music Therapy for persons with disabilities, and was the first person in Billings to practice the Self Mastery Emotional Regulations curriculum in anger management groups. Tana has authored “Medicine Wheel Stories to Follow the Seasons as Twenty Stands Woman”.
